With a lovely ("help me I've been kidnapped but am still alive") picture of Mr Hewitt and the newspaper on the day the photo was taken. A little gesture of evidence to the officiality of the account.
Anyway, August 3rd 2009, Steve told non-believers in his comments (RE faked photo evidence) that he would make a VIDEO POST!
August 5th 2009 fb updated status: Steven J Hewitt will be making an important announcement on this page at Midnight (UK time) on Friday, August 7th, 2009.

I can't hear but I suppose someone asks something like that: "but are cigarette part of catering"? Brian: "yes absolutely, you know..."
then I suppose the interviewer ask him why soy milk. He says: "I'm lactose intolerant" or something like that, and Steve says he wants pepper-free food.
Do you steal bars of soap from hotels as anybody else would?
Brian & Steve: Of course!

Have you ever been beaten up for the things you choose to say?
Brian: Yeah

Often, at rock/metal festivals, there is people in the audience that told you you're "fags". How do you answer to them?

22 months after we heard Steve Hewitt would no longer be part of our Placebo lives, we heard word of a new facebook page. Of course anyone can create a page and pretend to be a celebrity, so fans demanded proof. Steve promised that at midnight on August 7th UK time he would come through with the goods…and he has:

Jó újra látni Steve-et, én nagyon szeretem és hiányzik. Senki se tudja őt pótolni. Nagyon sajnálom, hogy így alakult a Placebo sorsa.

Message To Our Japanese Fans: Brian Recovering Well

We would firstly like to thank you for all your kind words and messages of support regarding Brian’s health after fainting at the show in Osaka, Japan, yesterday.
It is always incredibly disappointing when a show cannot take place for any reason, particularly on this occasion due to Brian being unwell, as we have looked forward for such a long time to these shows in Japan!
We have undertaken a gruelling and intensive schedule over the last few months and the last couple of weeks alone played 5 countries in 9 days. Brian picked up a virus which coupled with jet lag and exhaustion caused his collapse on stage. Thanks to prompt and professional care Brian is recovering well.
We would like to extend our grateful thanks and sincere apologies to the fans who made a huge effort travelling to see us in Osaka, especially after long queue’s in the heavy rain. We would also like to extend many thanks and apologies to the promoters, Creative Man, at Summer Sonic for all their help and understanding under difficult circumstances.
We are all the more devastated after such an amazing show in Tokyo on Saturday where the crowd was incredible. We were so excited to be back in Japan after a few years away and we were reminded what a very special place Japan is to us.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and we hope to make it up to you with new dates in Japan very soon. We love your country and can’t wait to come back.

Tehát röviden: Brian augusztus 9.-én Osakában összeesett a színpadon rögtön az első számnál. Valószínűleg elkapott vmlilyen vírust meg persze az is közrejátszott, hogy mostanában túl sok fellépésük volt. (és még lesz is...) Brian később fájlalta a fejét , de már jobban van. Reméljük , hogy tényleg semmi komolyabb baja nincs és ugyanúgy tudják majd folytatni a turnét mint ezelőtt. Ezt úgyis hiába írom , mert ha olvasná is akkor se érdekelné szerintem, szval, le kéne állni a cigiről és az energiaitalokról is. Sportolhatna meg egyebek.
